• Understand the concept of Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling with SAP APO/SCM.
• Configure PP/DS using SAP APO.
• Use short term Planning tools such as SAP APO PP/DS Graphical Planning board, Planning table and other tools.
• Create short term production plan (manual and automatic) using APO PP heuristics, optimizer and other order sequencing logic.
• Create detailed schedule to be used for shop floor execution using APO DS heuristics, optimizer and other scheduling logic.
• Integration of PP/DS with SAP SCM Supply Network Planning tool and ECC/shop floor execution system.
